By using Carsathi (the "Platform"), you agree to abide by this policy.
1. Cancellation Policy
Since Carsathi serves as a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers, it does not directly handle payments, cancellations, or refunds. However, we encourage users to follow these guidelines:
- Before Payment: Buyers may cancel their intent to purchase a vehicle at any time before completing the payment and signing the purchase agreement with the seller.
- After Payment: Once the payment has been made, the cancellation terms are subject to mutual agreement between the buyer and seller. Both parties are encouraged to communicate and agree on a fair outcome.
Seller-Initiated Cancellations
In rare instances, a seller may need to cancel a transaction, such as if the vehicle is no longer available. In these cases:
- The seller should promptly notify the buyer.
- Any refund, if applicable, should be processed directly between the buyer and seller.
2. Refund Policy
Refunds are generally subject to the agreement between the buyer and seller. Carsathi does not directly handle refunds, as transactions and payments are managed externally. However, the following general guidelines apply:
- Pre-Delivery Refunds: If the buyer decides to cancel the purchase before vehicle delivery and payment was made, the buyer and seller should mutually agree on refund terms.
- Post-Delivery Refunds: Once a vehicle has been delivered, refunds are typically not permitted unless there are issues that were undisclosed by the seller. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle thoroughly before accepting delivery to avoid disputes.
Dispute Resolution
In cases of disputes, Carsathi can facilitate communication between both parties but cannot guarantee a resolution. Buyers and sellers are encouraged to document the transaction process, including any agreements made about refunds or cancellations.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
The following circumstances typically do not qualify for a refund:
- Buyer’s Change of Mind: If the buyer changes their mind after completing the purchase.
- Condition Discrepancies Post-Delivery: If the vehicle condition has changed post-delivery due to buyer handling.
- Failure to Inspect: If the buyer does not inspect the vehicle before finalizing the transaction and later discovers issues.
